Local macOS and Windows scripts with a preview and explicit confirmation.
The default plan uninstalls recognized Desktop apps and cleans caches. Local-data reset requires an extra option and confirmation; sign-in, MCP settings and local sessions may be affected. No automatic elevation, forced process termination or file uploads.
Checks the official app bundle identifier and moves the app and caches into a Trash recovery folder. Local settings and sessions are kept by default.

macOS copies are in a HyperAI-Claude folder in Trash. Windows copies are under your LocalAppData/HyperAITools/ClaudeCleanup, with an original-path manifest. Copies may contain sensitive data. Keep them private; they still consume disk space. File recovery is not a full system restore.
Script syntax, safe-path checks, fixture previews and cancellation checks have been tested. No real Windows uninstall was executed and the development machine was not uninstalled. Different releases may require OS uninstall settings.
